Greentec Mosskiller is a
minigranular fertiliser
specially formulated to
control moss on all areas of amenity turf. It provides a practical and cost-effective alternative to lawn sand.
The high iron content and fine granulation (1.0 – 1.5mm) of Greentec Mosskiller ensures even distribution (through a rotary spreader) and therefore optimum coverage of the moss plant when applied at the mosskiller rate (40g/m2).

Greentec Mosskiller is formulated to support good growth and prolonged colour, with 75% of the available nitrogen derived from sulphate of ammonia for maximum availability in cool soil conditions.

The high potassium content completes the all-round agronomic benefits of using Greentec Mosskiller by hardening the plant and therefore reducing the risk of disease during the Autumn. It is ideal for use as a low temperature hardener on all areas of amenity turf where prolonged colour, but not growth is required.

Note: Apply after cutting to allow the maximum time to affect the moss before re-cutting. Water in if the application is made during dry, hot periods.
Avoid applying product during heavy rainfall, frosty weather or when frost is anticipated.
Remove product from hard surfaces immediately to prevent staining.

Greentec Organic

Greentec Organic is a new
generation organic fertiliser made from a unique combination of fully composted pine bark and manure.
With an average granule size of 1.25mm, it provides low odour and fast breakdown on the surface of the turf. Greentec Organic is ideal for use as a maintenance application on fine turf and also as a rootzone amendment during aeration and |
establishment. The pine bark imparts an acidic pH to the finished product as well as providing natural growth stimulants. To obtain the ideal formulation nitrogen, phosphate, potassium and magnesium are added These are partly derived from organic sources such as rock phosphate and sugar beet pulp. The use of composted material in the formulation process of Greentec Organic is key because application to turf will not remove nitrogen from the rootzone, as is the case with non composted materials (a process |
known as nitrogen drawdown).
To further enhance response, both Greentec Organic formulations obtain 50% of their nitrogen from sulphate of ammonia.
